Composite bonding at a glance

Composite bonding (also known as cosmetic bonding or dental bonding) is a very conservative dental treatment, used to conceal imperfections such as chipped, cracked, or discoloured teeth.

Bonding is the process of applying, moulding and contouring dental composite over natural teeth.

At Brookside Dental we use state-of-the-art high aesthetic composite to help cover up any damage on your tooth/teeth.

We use the best materials to make sure the bonding is long-lasting.

  • INEXPENSIVE
Amazing results at the fraction of the cost of complex treatments.
  • EASY

We only use the best materials available in the market designed for high-end cosmetic dentistry.

Benefits of dental bonding

Convenient

Most cases can be complete with a single visit to the dental clinic.

1

Affordable

Can be completed directly in the chair (no further costs of additional technological assessments).

2

Conservative

Dental bonding preserves more of the natural structure of your tooth than other treatments with visually similar results. In most cases no drilling is required at all (which also means that no dental sedation is necessary).

3

Suitability

Composite bonding is suitable for most patients and can be done at any age (optimal gum health is the only requirement).

4

Reversible

5

When no drilling has been done, composite bonding is 100% reversible.

Safe

Composite bonding is suitable for most patients and can be done at any age (optimal gum health is the only requirement).

6

Beautifully-looking

The aesthetic results of cosmetic bonding are optimal, and it is virtually unnoticeable to others.

Frequently asked questions about composite bonding at Brookside Dental

Right for me?

Where needed, a mock-up of the potential final result can be created for you (additional costs apply) which will allow you to preview any results of your cosmetic bonding treatment before you begin.

This is the SMILE TRIAL and is placed over your teeth to allow you to really see and feel what the final result will look like before you even commit.

1

The initial assessment

This is where we take all the Xrays and measurements to help design your new smile.

We take a 3D scan of your teeth and a full set of photographs to make sure the new smile looks natural and in keeping with your facial form.

2

The trial smile and whitening

Here we allow you to test drive your new smile!

We literally transport the new smile design over your existing teeth to allow you to see and feel your new smile before we make it permanent.

You also get a 2 week home whitening kit to start straight away.

3

New smile reveal

This is where we place the composite over your teeth to achieve the perfect smile, just as we agreed on your trial smile.
